Another happy Zappi install!

Dec 13, 2019

The British Isles is a land seeped in history that's blessed with its fair share of traditional houses scattered through its towns and countryside. As a nation, this heritage remains close to our hearts and maintaining our historic buildings is something many of us remain passionate about - but with this in mind, we Brits can still move with the times.

Mr. D Lynch is one such person, who lives in his beautiful Edwardian beachfront property! Having recently joined the EV revolution with his brand new Tesla Model X, Mr Lynch was soon after a Zappi charging station for his home. Once the work began, he soon encountered problems with the wiring to his 1908 home, which made this install of his Zappi less than straight forward.

“This was a complex job owing to the consumer unit not only being located far from the garage but was already overcrowded – it took careful planning and attention to detail to ensure the finished job was to our usual high standards,” explains Geoff, our installing engineer from The Phoenix works.

The aesthetics of the work were of utmost importance to Mr. Lynch, ensuring the cabling did not detract from the look and feel of his home.

“I was extremely happy with the final result despite the unforeseen challenges Geoff experienced on the day – he came up with a solution and got the job done.” Mr Lynch goes on to say, “I want to thank Pam at The Phoenix Works for her excellent communication throughout, so I always knew exactly what was happening and why, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.”
